12 Month Fixed Term Full Time (Maternity Relief)
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to support our Emergency Department for the next 12 months. Our 6-bed emergency department includes a state-of-the-art resuscitation room, triage room and procedure room. You will work alongside an enthusiastic team of nurses and emergency trained doctors to provide prompt and professional care 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills and Experience
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Minimum of three years’ experience working in an Emergency Department
* Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and prioritise care delivery needs of patients
* Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and autonomously as required
* Advanced communication and customer service skills
* Displays leadership qualities within the Emergency Department
* Previous resus and triage experience
* In charge or Team Leader experience (desirable)
* Post graduate certificate or similar in critical care (desirable)
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 68,033.68 - $95,500.08]
