The Road Safety Education Team is committed to delivering effective road safety training, education interventions, and publicity to reduce road casualties on Warwickshire’s roads and work hard as a team to achieve this.
This is a great opportunity to join our team in an exciting role working with Warwickshire Secondary schools, further education colleges, and communities to deliver road safety education in an innovative and creative way.
About the Role
Road safety affects us all – from the time we are born to the moment we hang up our car keys.
We are passionate about nurturing and educating children and young people to learn vital road safety skills that will prepare them for independence as they travel through life and we would love you to join our team to help us achieve this.
Your main role will be to engage with Secondary Schools, covering the whole of Warwickshire County, to deliver and develop the Road Safety Education sessions, and work with our dynamic team at an exciting time in road safety development.
Key Requirements
We are looking for an energetic and creative person to join our team to deliver educational sessions.
It would be great if you have:
1. A passion for road safety education, to inspire and engage with children, young adults, and Warwickshire residents
2. Experience of developing and delivering effective educational activities
3. Knowledge of road safety and sustainable travel issues
4. Knowledge of Behavioural Change Techniques
