This post is based at Naturezones
Job Description:
The aim of this job is to re-introduce Naturezones to Island communities. Pre-Covid, Naturezones had a good relationship with schools and community groups. These relationships have lost their momentum. We require the right person to reestablish these lost connections, to reach out to these groups and ensure they are fully aware of the educational opportunities we provide.
The successful applicant will have experience in communicating with all types of communities. They will be able to give presentations and talk eloquently about Naturezones and the educational experiences that we offer. They will make presentations to teachers, book visits to Naturezones, and be organized. In addition, the successful person will have excellent conservation/nature knowledge.
The ability to get around and attend relevant meetings with the specific purpose of promoting Naturezones is essential. They will organize school visits and CPD sessions to Naturezones.

* Possess evaluation and planning skills, as evaluation will be an important part of this post for reporting to the Heritage Lottery.

* Enthusiasm to raise awareness about the importance of protecting and enhancing natural habitats.
* Ability to encourage and promote connections with nature via various and creative means, possibly including nature walks, nature watch, photography, etc.
* Social media skills.
* Experience in working with people of all ages from children to seniors.
Responsibilities
The Outreach Co-ordinator is responsible to the Project Manager.
The successful applicant will have an up-to-date DBS or agree to a DBS check.
