Job summary We have a vacancy for a Dual Diagnosis Peripatetic Recovery Coordinator to help individuals who have both a mental health disorder and a substance use disorder. You will provide case management, coordinate treatment plans, and connect clients with medical, psychological, and social support services. The role involves assessing needs, advocating for resources, facilitating therapy or recovery programs, and ensuring a holistic, integrated approach to treatment. You will work closely with healthcare providers, support groups, and community services to promote long-term recovery and stability. Main duties of the job In this role, you will actively identify and engage with individuals facing substance misuse challenges, particularly those with complex physical and mental health needs, including co-morbid conditions. By providing tailored advice, support, and structured clinical or psychosocial interventions, you will help guide them on their recovery journey while addressing their primary healthcare needs. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized recovery plans, and empower individuals to progress in overcoming substance use and reintegrating into the community. Additionally, you will support the growth of service-based recovery communities, strengthen connections with local recovery and mutual aid groups, and help individuals build their own recovery capital through peer support networks.
