Finance Manager, Boroughbridge Due to growth, a well-established business in the Boroughbridge area is recruiting for a Finance Manager, you will report to their Group Head and work alongside their Group Management Accountant. Duties: • Work closely with the finance team to provide support, mentoring, training and long-term development. • Provide support to the team for complex queries relating to payroll, payments, cash book, journals • Review of financial controls and identify and implement operational efficiencies. • All aspects of financial accounting to trial balance and assistance with preparing accruals and prepayments. • Preparation of VAT data for MTD and PAYE reconciliations. Requirements: • Experience of working as a finance professional in a complex organisation. • Experience of managing a team • Good working knowledge of MS Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel. • Excellent communication skills to influence decision making • Ability to analyse and interpret management information to identify key patterns and trends • Experience with Pegasus Opera 3 (Payroll & Accounts Package) is beneficial, training can be provided.• Accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience This is a full time permanent office based positionParking on site.Their offices are easily accessible from the North and South due to their proximity to the A1
