Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Develop compelling campaigns, aligning to Shopper & Retailer insights, that deliver the triple win for BCH, the Customer and Consumers/Shoppers.
2. Implement best in class execution through demonstrating your knowledge of Omni channel Excellence and Shopper activation programs.
3. Be the External Brand Champion and in doing so becoming a Trusted Partner with key customers.
4. Lead the Shopper agenda and be a key participant within Local Category Teams.
5. Build relationships with Retailer 3rd party agencies that enable planning and execution of Activation across brands, channels and retail environments to optimise plans.
6. Lead the development of permanent & temporary equipment, cardboard solutions and digital assets through the partner Shopper Agencies.
7. Support the evaluation of shopper marketing campaigns, including ROI and KPI targets, and provide communication of these across CH UK.
8. Participate in the development of Stretch Plans to mitigate & optimise in-year performance delivering over fair share of voice to shopper marketing activations.
9. Responsible for tracking spend (up to 2 million) and evaluating for maximum impact and return.
Who You Are:
* The Shopper Marketing Manager must be able to demonstrate experience in influencing individuals/small teams and an ability to work through problems to a solution.
* External customer experience would be desirable; however, this could also be demonstrated through internal experience.
* Demonstrate proficiency across Sales/Marketing/Category Management functions.
* Experience in multiple categories and markets both within FMCG & OTC environments.
* Strong understanding of UK retail trade.
* Educated to degree standard or demonstrating equivalent capability.
* Excellent relationship building skills.
* Excellent verbal & written presentation and communication skills.
* Numerate with good attention to detail.
* Ability to use market data to build selling stories arguments.
