We’re looking for a dynamic and committed Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Cancer Nursing Team at the HCA at UCH currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC and one of our specialist cancer centres. As specialists in blood disorders and cancer we’re continually at the forefront of clinical innovation. Our continued investment allows us to offer the very latest treatments, from our JACIE accredited bone marrow/stem cell transplant service to our newly developed CART T-cell therapy programme which is revolutionising the care we’re able to provide.
As our new Sister / Charge Nurse you’ll be responsible for leading a team of experienced SACT nurses and Healthcare Assistants in providing safe, holistic and individualised patient care. Day to day you’ll use your extensive experience within the Cancer setting to lead by example and make a big difference to your patients, using treatments rarely found elsewhere.
You’ll also have much more autonomy day to day, including more control over assessment and treatment decisions while having the support you need to develop your career, whether that’s through regular development sessions from external speakers or one of our many funded courses, including masters level qualifications.
What you’ll bring:
* A current NMC Nurse registration
* Extensive experience within the Cancer / Oncology specialty
* SACT competency
* Evidence of continual professional development
