Business Development Manager
Location: Littlehampton
Salary: £35,000
A mostly field-based Business Development Executive covering the South, suitable for a candidate with a water or utilities background, is required for Hunters training provider client to be responsible for maintaining existing relationships with clients and driving business growth. The BDE identifies new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, partnerships, or new products and services.
Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
1. Build relationships with new clients, understanding their needs and developing proposals to support these needs.
2. Research and identify new business opportunities, including growth areas, trends, clients, partnerships, services, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
3. Ensure a good understanding of the business's products and services and be able to advise others about them.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders across the business.
5. Represent the company at conferences and events.
Qualifications
1. Full and clean driving license.
2. Experience in business development or sales.
3. Understanding or work experience in the water, utilities, and infrastructure sector is ideal.
4. Commercial awareness.
5. Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
6. Strong interpersonal and networking skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
