Teaching Personnel, working in partnership with a vibrant secondary school in Romsey, Hampshire, is recruiting for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. About the Role: This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The role will involve: Providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, both one-on-one and in small groups. Collaborating with teachers and SENCo to implement personalised learning plans. Promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment in line with the school’s values of Care, Aspire, and Include. Assisting with behaviour management and fostering positive relationships between students. Candidate Requirements: We are looking for a candidate who is: Patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting students with varying needs. Experienced in working with SEN children (preferred but not essential). Proficient in communication and collaboration with staff, students, and families. Eager to contribute to the school’s ethos of nurturing student well-being and confidence.
