We’re looking for a Logistics Scheduler with great customer service skills who thrive in a busy environment to join our team and help us to deliver our customer promise - to delight every customer, every time. In this role as a Logistics Scheduler you’ll be joining our Trakway team. You'll be responsible for the day to day coordinator of the logistics within the service centre, ensuring all contracts are properly serviced with the correct stock, vehicles and labour, administering of department paperwork and data relating to procurement and stock control. Key Duties will include; Supporting the Manager with all stock in the division, ensuring accurate site and yard stock figures are recorded daily and issues raised and resolved promptly Responsible for updating of the operations, stock and logistics diaries and any related documentation. Accurately keeping records of all activities. Communicating depot activity with the depot staff and producing accurate and clear loading lists with a reasonable period of notice. Responsible for administering all compliance against rules and restrictions Providing all required drawings, paperwork and information to the crews in order to assist them with delivering each contract. Liaising with labour and driver agencies when internal resource has been exhausted and with the transport department for the hiring and off hiring of additional vehicles. To succeed as a Logistics Scheduler you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours Prior experience in a customer service or logistics scheduler role Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues Flexible and self-motivated, you’ll take the initiative and be keen to embrace new training opportunities Great communication skills – both verbal and written Effective administration, planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Good IT/Computer skills.
