An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join a long-established small animal practice just outside Ipswich on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working across two well-equipped sites in close proximity to each other.
One branch operates from a beautifully refurbished Grade 2 listed building, offering a modern clinical environment while retaining its historic charm. The other site is a spacious, purpose-built facility equipped with the latest technology, including digital X-rays, video endoscopy, multiparameter monitoring, and a class IV therapeutic laser. Both locations are RCVS GP status accredited and proudly cat-friendly.
This practice takes pride in fostering a supportive, professional, and friendly work culture where personal and professional development is actively encouraged. Whether you're a recent graduate or an experienced vet, the practice is open to candidates at any stage of their career. For those looking to specialise, there is ample opportunity to pursue areas of interest, with generous funding and study leave for certificates.
You'll be joining a large, collaborative clinical team, with one branch benefiting from the expertise of an Advanced Practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging and an Orthopaedic Surgeon, ensuring access to excellent mentorship and knowledge-sharing across both sites. If you are passionate about high-quality patient care and looking for a role where you can grow both professionally and personally, this could be the perfect fit!
