Job Duties
As a successful Area Sales Manager, you will be tasked with:
* Creating new business opportunities, prospecting, and developing strategic plans to nurture and develop new relationships with target clients.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and foster collaboration.
* Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and exceed performance goals.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and deliver exceptional value to customers.
About You
* Proven track record of success in business development, 360 sales, or a similar role
* Out-and-out ‘hunter’ sales mentality is essential for success
* Relevant industry or product experience preferred (packaging, consumables, managed print, manufacturing, capital equipment leasing, or capital equipment sales)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence others
* Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving and a passion for driving results
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
* ️ Able to travel regularly around the UK to visit distributors and clients
* Must be situated in the South-West or South Midlands due to proximity to distribution partners
Job Benefits
* Base salary of £45,000 – £55,000 (dependent on experience)
* Lucrative, uncapped commission structure – £100k OTE
