About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated bank staff for our Mental Health 24-hour Supported Housing service. In this role, you will support tenants in maintaining their independence and managing their daily lives. You will assist with tenancy management, attending appointments, and fostering healthy routines, including hygiene and nutrition. The role involves helping tenants develop skills such as cooking, shopping, cleaning, and managing correspondence and budgets. You will also handle medication, provide first aid when required, and encourage tenants to seek employment opportunities. Social and recreational activities such as pool, cards, movie nights, and group outings will also form part of your responsibilities. Personal care is not required for this role.

Location
The role is based on Hayling Island, Hampshire. The location is well-served by public transport, with buses running on and off the island every 20 minutes, and there is on-site parking available.
About You
We are looking for someone who is empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting individuals with mental health needs. You should have basic computer skills for managing correspondence and record-keeping. While a valid driver’s license is preferred, it is not essential. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive approach, will help you thrive in this role.
