What you’ll do:
Are you seeking a fresh start in an analytical and rewarding career? If you’re ready to jump in, get your hands dirty, and make a tangible impact, we have an exciting opportunity within our SME Insurance team for an ambitious Pricing Analyst.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to dive into the details. As a key player on the team, you’ll help shape the strategy and success of Admiral Business. Your responsibilities will range from conducting competitor benchmarking and pricing reviews to analysing customer segments and uncovering actionable insights. You'll take ownership of producing pricing reports, interpreting complex data, and proposing pricing adjustments that directly impact business outcomes. Additionally, you’ll explore and implement external data sources to sharpen our pricing capabilities.
On the technical side, you won’t just be observing – you’ll roll up your sleeves to help implement pricing updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the pricing engine runs smoothly. Rigorous testing and hands-on problem-solving will be central to your role.
We’re looking for a motivated analyst who loves tackling challenges, has strong numerical skills, and is eager to learn programming with tools like SQL, Python, and other data analytics software. You’ll be adaptable, proactive, and ready to own your work from day one.
What we offer:
* Hands-on training and guidance from an experienced Pricing Lead, empowering you to take charge of your work.
* A collaborative, small-team environment where every contribution counts, and you'll learn directly from experienced professionals.
* The chance to be deeply involved in driving impactful projects and solving real-world business problems.
What we're looking for:
* A numerate individual ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into data analysis.
* A problem solver who thrives on challenging projects and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
* A willingness to learn and master programming and data manipulation to handle large datasets effectively.
* Prior work experience isn't required – just enthusiasm, curiosity, and a strong work ethic.
This is your chance to launch a fulfilling career where you’ll truly make a difference. If you’re ready to take on challenges, learn, and grow, we’d love to hear from you!
