The main aim of a school Mentor is to reduce the harmful effects of Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties that currently affect the Learner. We are working with a school who are looking for a Youth Mentor to support their pupils. School Mentor Responsibilities: · Driving responsibilities · Mentor young people · Review EHCP/ Behaviour and use findings to inform the construction of a positive behaviour scheme · Become a positive role model for the young person · Liaise with SENCo, Classroom Teacher and any other key professionals in pupil's education, to inform them of progress. To join us and be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of six weeks experience of supporting young people which you can evidence with references.
