An established and growing accountancy firm in Dudley is looking for an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team. Role Overview This position will primarily focus on audit work (approximately 80%), with the remaining time dedicated to accounts preparation and tax computations. You will be responsible for executing company audits efficiently across a range of clients, gaining valuable insight into their businesses and identifying areas for improvement. Key responsibilities Planning audits, including risk assessment and strategy development. Completing audit fieldwork, supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff. Finalising audit files for director review. Preparing financial statements and drafting tax computations. Working closely with clients, providing expert advice and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Ongoing training and CPD support provided as necessary. Candidate Requirements ACA/ACCA fully qualified. Minimum three years of practice experience, including audit planning and execution. Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102. Experience supervising junior staff and reviewing audit work. Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
