Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor

Contract: Fixed term until 9th July 2025 initially
Roles: Teaching Assistant: Grade 6 £23,898 - £24,300 pa pro rata (£12.38- £12.59 p/h) 25hrs 50 mins per week Mon-Fri Midday Supervisor: Grade 4 £22,743 - £22,932 pa pro rata (£11.78- £11.88 p/h) 3 hours 20 minutes per week Mon - FriClosing Date: Monday 18th November 2024 Congerstone Primary School is a friendly and thriving village school where we nurture each child to be the best they can be.
Support staff are an integral part of our school and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, hardworking, enthusiastic, creative and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our Year 1 team.
The Teaching Assistant role is to provide 1:1 support in our Year 1 class. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo to assist with teaching and learning.
The Midday Supervisor role will be focused around the supervision of the child within the playground environment. Ensuring free play and games are suitable and helping develop social relationships with peers.
The successful candidate will:

• Have the highest expectations for all our children and their futures.
• Be willing to undertake any necessary training for the role.
Previous experience of working in a school environment or recent relevant child-based role is desirable, training can be provided for the successful candidate.
