National Account Manager – Premium Foodservice and National QSR - Remote Contract
INTRO:
Henderson Brown is delighted to announce an exclusive partnership with a renowned European Food Manufacturer. Our client has a legacy of providing high-quality food products made from the finest ingredients in the European and UK food industry. You have likely had one of their products before, whether that is in a major supermarket chain or an established UK coffee shop brand.
OVERVIEW:
We have a challenging but rewarding opportunity for a highly professional operation with strong supply routes internationally and specifically in the UK. The individual we are searching for will need to be someone comfortable forging new relationships but also a first-rate commercial manager who understands OL and Brands. A key part of this role is engaging with new customers and building a heavily existing portfolio with noteworthy QSRs.
As a result, the client is quite specific in whom they are looking for. First-class commercial management skills are essential, but they want someone with energy and enthusiasm. You will need to be knowledgeable of the food and beverage industry and capable of dealing with day-to-day account management issues with existing customers, as well as spotting opportunities with new customers and developing strategies to engage with them.
PERSON SPEC:
We are looking for someone with extensive experience within FMCG, specifically food and foodservice. You will need to learn to read the market quickly and problem-solve at speed, be a lateral thinker, and make rational decisions quickly, communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to push through business and deliver results.
It’s important that the incoming incumbent understands and appreciates the endeavor that comes with this brand-new product, which has tremendous whitespace. We need someone resourceful, self-motivated, and who thrives on a challenge.
The successful candidate will hold themselves to the values that underpin the business and can both integrate and add value to the European team. They will lead change and be a figurehead that defines success for others across the business.
Authenticity will be at the core of this individual, coupled with an incredible desire to succeed and a genuine nature to support the overall development of their new team.
