Principal Objectives:
To identify, analyse, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets, drawing insights that will aid the business in developing suitable courses of action to maximise performance, quality, efficiencies and help reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Source, interpret and analyse data results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
2. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
3. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
4. Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
5. Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
6. Work with management to prioritise business and information needs.
7. Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
Skills & Abilities Required (Essential):
1. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
2. Strong mathematical skills.
3. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
4. Problem solving skills.
5. Willing to learn and make a positive contribution to the business.
6. Ability to work as part of a small team.
7. Flexible approach to work and ability to prioritise workload.
8. Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with a diverse range of staff.
9. Able to work in a discrete and confidential manner.
10. Driving license.
Education:
1. Degree in Mathematical/ Statistical/ Computer Science subjects.
2. Business Analytics Qualification.
