About the Role: As a Mechanical and Electrical Power and Infrastructure Planner Apprentice Level 4, you will be trained to design and build the environments that keep BT’s networks operating 24/7, 365 days a year. You will utilize expertise in AC and DC electrical systems, cooling equipment, and cable management techniques to meet current and future demands of the business.

Hours: 37.5hrs per week, 0800-1600, Monday to Friday
The apprentice training course: You will study for a Level 4 Lead Engineering Maintenance Technician apprenticeship with Stoke College, attending on a block release basis.
Duration: The program lasts 3 years with approximately 10 blocks per year.
The qualifications you’ll need: Two A-Levels with a minimum of CC grades and five GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English and Maths (Maths must be B or higher). An understanding of basic engineering principles is preferred. A full UK Driving Licence is required as this is not a desk job; you will be traveling between sites.
