Veritas Education is seeking confident individuals who have a passion for supporting children and young people within their educational settings. Veritas works alongside a variety of different schools in and around the Leeds/West Yorkshire area, who are in need of supportive, enthusiastic, and reliable teaching assistants/support staff to help in their schools.
Special Needs schools are a great way to start your journey into education and to build on your current school experience, as you develop new skills in supporting additional needs, behaviour, and lesson content.
Key skills required:
* Passion for wanting to support and help children/young people
* Confident supporting children in different classes and age groups
* Enthusiastic, hard-working, energetic, and reliable
* Able to build meaningful relationships with both learners and staff
* Pro-Active: Willing to get involved in all aspects of children's learning, from academic lessons to life skills learning and practical sessions!
