Then you found the right position As a Tax Market Intelligence Associate within the The Client Tax Operations Utility, your primary responsibility will be to maximize the client experience and comply with tax regulations globally by facilitating the collection of valid client tax documentation, the application of withholding tax and refunds and the submission of regulatory reporting. This is a dynamic function requiring consistent compliance and controls, enhanced response to regulatory and market changes and operational excellence in our business processes and technology. You will also be responsible for the assessment and documentation of operational impact in respect of regulatory, market and business driven changes. Including the responsibility of providing tax technical insight across the Client Tax Operations Utility and support for business-driven change programs. You will influence enhancement of operations procedures and the introduction of new product offerings to develop our operational tax services. Job responsibilities Reviews and approves all JPMorgan Tax Newsflashes issued to clients Completes ongoing review of existing operational tax processes to identify risks and areas for enhancement, and implementation innovative solutions Identifies, escalates and participates in resolution of risk incidents Creates internal communications in support of regulatory/market change activity Maintains tax rate static data in the Custody Tax platform Reviews tax rate approval for all new market account openings Provisions tax technical support to all operational teams within the Client Tax Operations Utility Collaborates with Custody Tax Product in support of regulatory, market and strategic change/projects Communicates changes with colleagues in Client Tax Operations providing clear and actionable guidance Communicates with external agents and tax authorities in support of regulatory and market change Works with and contributes to internal Operational Working Groups Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Be able to demonstrate an understanding of international withholding tax practices and regulatory change management Have excellent analytical, organisation and problem solving skills Be able to discuss your process improvement experience, where you clearly articulate ideas, concepts and procedural changes Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all level Be able to give examples of your risk awareness and operational control experience within financial services Have proven experience within an arena where accuracy is critical within strict deadlines Have a technical mindset with awareness of MS Excel, Alteryx, Tableau and UiPath J.P.
