Job Description
Working within Keltbray Infrastructure Services Rail Business Unit, and forming a part of the Training team, the Training Coordinator plays an integral part in ensuring accuracy and compliance in Data Management within the training team.
To fulfil the requirements of the sentinel scheme rules and ensure that all KISL Rail / Rail Plant operational training requirements are completed and that employees are suitably trained to the requisite standards. Responsible for administration of employee’s training records and ensuring the Group Training System remain up to date and information is collated and recorded.
Tasks and Duties:
* To fulfil the requirements of the Sentinel Scheme Rules and RTAS rules
* Forecast training events for trainers and assessors
* Send out booking forms and Joining instructions for events
* Monitor training requirements on the training and assessment matrix and sentinel looking ahead a minimum of 3 months to ensure no competencies expire
* Maintenance of computerised and paper-based training systems
* Inform clients/internal line managers of learner results
* Collate and record learner evaluation forms for NSAR requirements
* Organisation of trainer/assessor handouts and course material
* Making provisions for daily training enquiries
* Ensure all auditable systems are up to date and functioning correctly

Qualifications & Training
The position holder should be educated to GCSE standard and be able to demonstrate a good level of competency and knowledge of IT systems, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge
* Basic knowledge of Network Rail Standards
* Knowledge of the Sentinel Scheme Rules
* Basic understanding of safety, quality and environmental issues relevant to the rail industry
Skills and Abilities
* Good communication skills both verbal and written
* Good planning and organisation skills
