Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Welding Inspector to oversee and inspect welding activities for windfarm and jacket structures. The role involves ensuring all welding processes meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct welding inspections according to project specifications and codes (AWS, ASME, ISO).
2. Review WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Records).
3. Monitor welders' performance and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
4. Identify and document welding defects, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and HSE guidelines.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Welding Inspector in offshore wind or jacket fabrication projects.
2. Certifications: CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2, PCN Level 2 (preferred).
3. Technical Knowledge: Familiar with various welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW).
4. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a busy-paced environment.
