Job Purpose:
To drive new business for all Synexa services; ligand binding, LC-MS/MS, flow cytometry, translational and genomics. This role involves identifying and targeting new customers and driving repeat business from the existing customer base, managing customers within an assigned geographical territory. Requires collaboration with proposals, contracts, inside sales, scientific strategies, and operations to prospect, drive leads to opportunities, and then through the sales process to contract negotiation and project initiation. Target driven role, based on net new business (NNB) awards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop territory and key account plans to drive sales growth for all Synexa lines of business.
* Understand Synexa’s value proposition and market position to enable highly targeted market outreach.
* Identify and target prospective customers within territory.
* Understand customer needs and propose appropriate Synexa solutions.
* Develop existing customer base within territory, driving additional wins and repeat business.
* Working with proposals and scientific strategies to develop profitable quotes and sales proposals which differentiate Synexa and improve our prospect of winning.
* Contract and price negotiation.
* Log leads, opportunities, and activities in CRM to allow the business to accurately forecast NNB.
* Represent Synexa at industry events to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
* Understand the market and customer needs to identify new/innovative areas for business growth.
* Need to be target driven, combined with strong technical/scientific understanding.
* The position requires a detail-oriented approach and the ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Requires clinical/lab CRO experience (Essential).
* Requires at least a bachelor's degree in life sciences and >5 years' experience in CRO/Lab or other similar commercial roles. (Essential).
* A strong customer contact list and connections in the field. (Desirable).
