Senior Commercial Manager (International Markets) Lydney, UK £60,000 - £65,000 Primary Purpose: Lead the International Markets Commercial team to enhance business efficiencies while adhering to company standards, with limited supervision. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the Commercial team, facilitating meetings, quote reporting, and project assignments based on business priorities. Review cost models and proposals as necessary. Recommend efficiencies within the Commercial department and promote interdepartmental collaboration. Assist with market development, including structured finance projects and tender opportunities. Collaborate with partners on integration and enhance group identity within the Commercial team. Manage inquiries through the business process to deliver high-quality proposals and submissions. Oversee Commercial Contracts from inquiry to project completion. Negotiate Customer Contract Terms & Conditions in line with approval matrices. Present major project reviews to leadership for necessary tender approvals. Work with Business Development to organise pricing strategies and full cost estimation models. Accurately communicate Purchase Order or Contract details to project delivery and operational teams. Manage and issue Letters of Credit, invoices, and other negotiated payment methods. Support factory planning and stock control processes, coordinating with the Logistics team for export and shipping needs. Contribute to the Sales and Commercial CRM Database to monitor and report on inquiry progress. Ensure all business activities comply with ethical standards and the company's Business Ethics and Conduct Policy. Minimum Education and Experience: Degree or equivalent professional experience. Significant knowledge in a Commercial Export Environment or a similar role. Experience in contractual terms review and negotiations. Background in manufacturing or construction services. Experience in developing client offers related to bridges or civil engineering. Essential Skills and Knowledge: Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the technical aspects of products. Ability to present effectively at senior organisational levels, especially for tender reviews. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems.
