We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. The role involves processing invoices, reconciling supplier accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a good understanding of accounts payable processes. Where : Head Office, Newton-le-Willows WA12 area. Role Responsibilities Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added: Accurate processing and coding of purchase invoices and credits to the creditor’s ledger. Resolving supplier queries in a quick and efficient manner. Creating and maintaining supplier accounts with relevant information in accordance with internal policy. Monthly supplier statement reconciliations. Efficiently processing expense claims within deadlines in line with the employees’ pay dates. Processing BACS run files for weekly payment submissions in compliance with a procure to pay process. Raising purchase orders in accordance with the company’s approval sign off matrices to control costs within the company. Ordering office consumables via various suppliers to ensure sufficient operational stock levels within the office. Other Ad hoc duties as required. Who we are looking for We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Kingdom’s headquarters. Essential Role Experience Proficient with the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience in data entry. Experience of working in a purchase ledger role. Experience of Sage accounts packages is desirable, but not essential. The successful applicant will match the below skill set Able to deal with high volume data processing.
