Responsibilities
as our Brick/Multi Instructor Technician will include:
Technician activities
1. Support the student, staff and Lecturers to maintain a high standard of operation including preparation, clearing away, sweeping and maintenance etc
2. Check levels of stock and work with the team to ensure good stock control at all times
Apparatus and Stock
3. Support Technicians, Lecturers and Instructors in maintaining, cleaning and repair of apparatus, equipment and workshops
4. Prepare and clear away any material apparatus, equipment and materials ensuring correct storage and correct inventory records maintained
Health & Safety
5. Responsible for ensure the Health & Safety of self and others within the workshops
6. Ensure that apparatus and equipment are used in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations
As our Brick/Multi Instructor Technician, youll ideally have:
7. English and Maths or willing to work towards within an agreed timeframe
8. Experience in Health & Safety Able to travel across sites
9. The ability to analyse and solve problems
10. Interpersonal and negotiation skills
11. Capable of preparing materials for use in the workshop for student projects
12. Can sustain stamina in a post that can be physically demanding
