Our client is now seeking an ambitious and career-driven Senior Accountant or Manager to transition into a Partner Status role as part of the succession planning to replace the the current partner who is exiting due to impending retirement from the business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the strategic planning and delivery of business services
2. Ensure the high-quality delivery of accounting compliance, corporation tax, personal tax, management reporting and advisory services.
3. Meet with clients to review final accounts, and assist and advise with business strategy and planning
4. Management and growth of a portfolio of strategic and high net-worth clients.
5. Development and growth of new clients and opportunities.
6. Oversee and support projects as necessary.
7. Department management and staff development ensuring employee performance and delivery.
8. Support and develop the existing team of Semi Seniors/ Juniors
9. Recruit additional team members in line with business growth, conducting interviews as required.
Requirements:
ACA / ACCA qualified.
10. A minimum of 5 years practice experience
11. Demonstrable history of career progression in an accountancy practice.
12. A proven track record of developing new and profitable revenue streams.
13. Technically proficient in all areas of accountancy, audit and taxation.
14. An entrepreneurial attitude to identifying and exploiting business opportunities.
15. An experienced Team Leader who leads by example and inspires others.
16. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex accountancy principles to non-accountancy audiences.
