About the role:
DMCL is seeking a Cloud Accountant/Bookkeeper with experience in QuickBooks Online to join our expanding Cloud Accounting team in our Surrey office.

Please note, this role does not align with pursuing a CPA designation.
How you’ll make a difference:
* Conducting accounting tasks utilizing cloud-based accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO) and associated third-party applications like Hubdoc, ensuring accurate and efficient financial data management, streamlining processes for enhanced productivity and transparency.
* Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal management reports using QBO, contributing to the overall financial health and strategic direction of the organizations you support.
* Handling GST and PST returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, minimizing the risk of penalties or audits and optimizing tax efficiency.
* Onboarding new clients into QBO, including data file setup and conversion, fostering seamless transitions for clients and promoting positive initial experiences.
* Providing client care and support, delivering exceptional customer service and addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
Who you are:
* 2+ years of experience in accounting, Cloud Accounting, or bookkeeping, preferably within a public practice firm.
* A robust understanding of QuickBooks Online features and workflow, with experience in Xero Accounting or Sage 50 considered advantageous.
