We are working with a market-leading manufacturing organisation who are looking to bring in an experienced HSE professional to drive and develop the HSE culture across the site. The HSE Coordinator will play a vital role in creating a positive culture and be responsible for managing the HSE systems, ensuring the site is compliant with all legislation and regulations.
As the HSE Coordinator you will be involved in:
1. Managing and maintaining integrated management systems in accordance with the relevant ISO accreditations
2. Collaborating with the Management team to set organisational HSE Objectives
3. Implementing H&S procedures and processes
4. Supporting the organisation with training and guidance
5. Compiling HSE metrics and data to aid problem solving and drive preventative actions
6. Ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and supplied to relevant 3rd parties where necessary
7. Managing the audit calendars and supporting with any external and internal audits
Skills and experience you will need:
You will have existing experience in similar roles such as HSE Advisor / HSE Manager / HSE Coordinator and through these types of roles developed excellent knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. You will ideally be qualified with a relevant H&S qualification; however, those qualified by experience will also be considered. As this is a busy manufacturing site, experience of working within a Health & Safety / Environmental role based within a similar environment will be required.
