Description Wood are recruiting Site Services Team Leads for the the 47/3B platform within the Rough field, mobilising from Humberside on a 22 rotation. This role would be on a staff basis. Job Objectives To manages the safe, effective and efficient execution of the assigned asset planned activity covering Projects, TARs, equipment overhauls, Outages, Inspection, Scaffold, Insulation and Paint (SIP) services though the management and leadership of multi-functional and multi-vendor resources. In doing so, creates an environment in which all are heard, respected and valued Participates as part of the Offshore Asset Leadership team to facilitate execution of assigned activity in service of ensuring safe and efficient execution Ensures all parties understand and strictly adhere to the BP Global Management Processes, standards and the control of work process Drives exemplary HSE leadership and performance through support, coaching and maintaining standards Provides performance management of third-party vendors Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Demonstrates exemplary HSE leadership as a key member of the offshore leadership team. Responsible for input to planning and safe execution of high priority industrial service support & construction work in addition to vendor related deliverables within their area(s) of control through the daily use of AIW, Maximo/SAP and eCoW. When the situation demands, makes informed decisions quickly. Consistently demonstrating delivery to all stakeholders Ensures work readiness for assigned scopes is delivered to a high standard to meet the required AIW gate criteria Ensures the asset holds sufficient service resources and materials to support the activity set Ensures correct certification is applied to the respective scopes. Responsible for the sign-off of key documents e.g., MC1 and PL1 Test and confirms site readiness, discusses any issues and agrees any mitigation. Takes initiative to solve problems as they arise Attends daily, weekly and ad-hoc planning meetings ensuring the plans are accurate and realistic for the activity set Builds strong respectful team relationships and engages all offshore service providers in ensuring ownership of the integrated plan. Inspires and leads by example. Values and encourages all contributions Listens actively and provides regular communication and feedback to stakeholders on the progression of scopes against the base line Addresses proactively any employee or project performance short comings, identifies any areas for improvements and shares best practice Raises issues promptly to ensure resolutions through the various daily meetings and EQ/TQ process. Ensures change is recorded as part of close out Ensures the effectiveness and resources efficiency of services work completed and resolving and/or escalating systematic issues that prevent the completion of the agreed work schedule Drives the completion of the eMoC pre and post implementation actions that have been assigned to the position. Works closely with peers to ensure the timely close out thus ensuring the eMoC enables rather than inhibits job progression Ensures all work close out is prepared, executed and completed in accordance with the work management data and eCoW standards as applicable Provides focus to minimise Non-Productive Time (NPT) and ensures teams are deployed effectively. Works with onshore SPAs to help build and subsequently maintain a fallback list (where possible) of work spanning the various trades and services which can be used to minimise NPT Instills a sense of purpose; sets clear direction and boundaries; provides the space for colleagues and partners to be at their best Initiates safety, quality and environmental processes for their area(s) of control, including the delivery of pre-shift safety briefs to both day and night shift crews, toolbox meetings, inspections, and the identification, assessment and control of risks in accordance with Wood and client requirements Ensures safety, quality and environmental responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated to workers engaged within their area(s) of control Works with reporting vendors to ensure all workers within their area(s) of control receive appropriate training to perform their work in a safe, legal and competent manner including any Health and Safety and site-specific inductions Ensures all competence assessments are completed as planned for all vendors, contractors and employees within their areas of control and any gaps highlighted according to guidance Qualifications Knowledge, skills and experience: Extensive maintenance or operations experience in the offshore oil and gas industry as well as significant experience of leading vendors/contractors of all trades in Field Construction/Services Support Personal attributes: Well organised, observant, good interpersonal and communication skills Display both good judgment and leadership qualities Ability to work with timelines/targets Ability to be assertive and drive culture change when required Excellent interpersonal organisational, communication and team building skills
