As the Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / Car Diagnostic Technician / Diagnostic Mechanic / Vehicle Service Technician you will take great pride in ensuring the vehicles are presented in the best possible light to reflect the excellent value on offer. The Duties of the Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / Car Diagnostic Technician / Diagnostic Mechanic / Vehicle Service Technician: Carry out routine service works as per given guidelines Provide regular work status updates Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing vehicles after work has been carried out Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI's, service reports) in line with HSO, warranty and company requirements Accurately complete job cards and reports, including any written descriptions of faults found or repairs completed The Ideal Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / Car Diagnostic Technician / Diagnostic Mechanic / Vehicle Service Technician: A minimum of NVQ L3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) A qualified diagnostic technician, preferably multi-brand A keen eye for detail and recognising the importance of giving every car in the workshop the highest standard of care A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and solve problems quickly A huge passion for learning and keeping up with industry innovations to help you perform at your best Communication with production leader to ensure that quality repairs are carried out on all vehicles Strong technical background with experience of working as motor vehicle mechanic in similar role Good communication skills Ability to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high level of quality Full UK Driving Licence As the Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / Car Diagnostic Technician / Diagnostic Mechanic / Vehicle Service Technician you will also: Be fully aware of company brand and what it stands for and understand how to deliver it at all times within your job role.
