Job Role: Teaching English to small classes of students with SEMH needs. Leading and managing a small team of English teachers to inspire a love for English. Developing and delivering a curriculum that engages and supports students with diverse learning needs. Setting high expectations for behaviour, progress, and achievement. Working closely with leadership and pastoral teams to support students holistically. Monitoring and assessing student progress, ensuring tailored interventions where needed. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching English at secondary level, ideally within an Alternative Provision, PRU, or SEMH setting. Strong leadership skills and experience in line management or curriculum development. Excellent behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
