The principal duties and responsibilities are:
1. Liaise with the Network Manager on analysis of daily traffic and performance reports to improve on-the-road performance.
2. Analyse and investigate bus network trends using historic performance data provided by TfGM’s AVL system and direct feedback.
3. Accountable for identification of trends and poor performance.
4. Work with Performance Analyst who will remotely and objectively assess current performance, identifying areas for improvement.
5. Develop initiatives to improve all aspects of service delivery, including punctuality.
6. Be responsible for the development and improvement plans, preparation of performance reports and implementation of plans to mitigate events.
7. Reporting to the Head of Operations to assist and contribute to all Performance Review meetings.
8. Conduct grievance, investigation, disciplinary, and appeal hearings.
9. Cover for the AOM at depot level.
10. Ensure that KPIs are recorded and targeted correctly.
11. Liaise on a regular basis with Stakeholder Manager.
Requirements, Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:
1. Be a team player with the ability to bring ideas and fresh perspectives.
2. Ability to undertake project planning, project management, and work to budgets.
3. Programme management experience with a structured approach to organising and documenting progress through KPI monitoring and performance reporting.
4. Experience of managing and analysing sustainability data.
5. Driving licence and willingness to travel.
The following qualities/experience are desirable:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft suite, namely Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
2. Experience of working on multiple projects.
3. Stakeholder management experience.
Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications and Training:
1. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; capable of holding senior level discussions with internal and external bodies.
