Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant in Urology at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, commencing as soon as possible until 22nd April 2025.
This is a 10PA Locum Consultant post in adult General Urology and Endourology.
We are a busy department of 19 Consultants who provide Core Urology Services and a wide range of sub-specialist services, including Uro-Oncology, Reconstructive Urology, complex stone management, and General Urology services to both the Cambridge area and the wider East of England region.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will help deliver all aspects of the Core Urology Service (an interest in Endourology/stone surgery is desirable), and the job includes a 1:16 on-call commitment.
You will be fully registered with the GMC and have a CCT in Urology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
Minimum Requirements
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
