How you'll make a difference
As an Administrator, you will provide detailed and accurate administration support to ensure that records and reports are up to date. Your work helps the wider People Department to deliver the best possible services to those in the community who may need it the most.
You will be part of a small, experienced team, who are friendly and welcoming and training, and support will be given.
What you will be doing
1. It will be your responsibility to provide administrative support to managers and ensure work carried out is efficient and procedures are effectively followed.
2. Daily, you will arrange meetings, liaise with partners and professionals, input accurately in computer systems and distribute minutes within given deadlines.
3. We require you to take accurate minutes and notes at confidential and sensitive meetings ensuring that documents are produced to a high standard.
4. By ensuring your guidance is clear and concise, you will support customers with specific service processes and procedures, escalating specific concerns or queries if necessary.
5. You will accurately record, collate, and maintain records and analyse information to ensure accurate statements are produced and data is retrieved from computerised systems and interpreted.
What we need from you
1. It is essential you hold 3 GCSE grades grade 4 or above including maths and English or have equivalent qualification or equivalent relevant experience in office administration.
2. We require you to take and type accurate minutes of meetings, with the skill to format documents to a high standard.
3. You will be able to prioritise your own workload, able to work on your own initiative and meet deadlines.
4. Given the elements of this role, you will be able to use databases, run reports, analyse data and present your findings.
What you need to know
1. This role is hybrid, with a mixture of working at our office in Badminton Road, Yate and from home.
2. Interviews will be held on Monday 17th March 2025.
