Senior Commissioning Manager – Data Centre's
Salary: £90k + Car/Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Manager with an Electrical or Mechanical bias to join our growing data centre projects team. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful test and commissioning of data centre processes within strict timelines, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and health & safety.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading data centre specialist, delivering complex and innovative projects across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Commissioning Oversight – Provide strategic and tactical support for the full engineering and commissioning lifecycle from conception to completion.
Team Leadership – Offer guidance and direction to ensure operational excellence, coordinating with subcontractors and package managers throughout the commissioning process (Levels 1–5).
Technical Expertise – Interrogate engineering schedules, verification, and validation requirements to ensure full compliance.
Documentation & Reporting – Prepare and compile commissioning test documentation and review commissioning procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Safety & Quality Compliance – Ensure all work is conducted in line with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Stakeholder Management – Chair site commissioning meetings and contribute to progress reports to keep all stakeholders informed.
Problem Solving – Collaborate with the Project Manager to address commissioning challenges and resolve issues effectively.
What We’re Looking For
🔹 Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor on highly technical projects.
🔹 Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
🔹 Proven people management experience with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
🔹 Strong written skills for drafting test procedures and reports.
🔹 Understanding of UK building regulations and health & safety laws.
🔹 Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
🔹 Previous experience in data centre projects is highly desirable.
