About our TeamThe Marketing Technology Team is part of the RXUK hub central marketing team serving 50 events globally. The team is responsible for digital platforms, marketing technologies event technologies, innovation, marketing automation, analytics and reporting. About the Role As the Digital Platforms Manager, your role encompasses overseeing the activities of the Digital Platforms team. You are responsible for implementing best practices, recommending standardized processes, and effectively managing digital operations across the platforms. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining SEO optimized multi-lingual web pages, and configuring the event platform across 50 events and developing and executing marketing automation programs. Furthermore, in collaboration with Marketing Ops the team will deliver timely, accurate, and insightful reporting and analytics across the managed platforms empowering the Marketing and Event teams to achieve optimal results You will lead your team in continuously monitoring digital performance and identifying areas for improvement. This involves working closely with the Digital Product Manager (Websites) and Campaign managers to regularly test new tools, campaigns and features, analyze data, and implement changes to optimise the customer journey. In this role, you will be the main point of escalation for all digital platform related inquiries and concerns. You will also work closely with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable plans and strategies. Your expertise in digital platforms will play a crucial role in enhancing user experience, increasing engagement, and driving conversions. Furthermore, your team handle the administration, standardization, optimization, and provision of user training and support for the Social Media management platform. In your capacity, you will oversee the Jira workflow process for task management, ensuring adequate audit trails and reporting to meet resource requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with Marketing Operations to manage and budget for any additional insourced and outsourced support resources needed. Responsibilities - Manages the Digital Platforms team and their activities applying best practices and recommend processes for standardisation and managing the platforms as BAU efficiently - Executing tactics and projects within the strategy defined for their area of expertise - Managing projects seamlessly through to execution - Managing risks, implements reporting and identifies issues that impact on successful execution - Planning website management and traffic - Building clear processes and procedures for efficient and effective management of digital real estate Requirements: - An excellent understanding of Digital Marketing, Web CMS, UX, Digital Analytics, Marketing Automation, Email, Social Media Management - Strong leadership skills, ability to build effective relationships and influence key stakeholders - Highly organised; able to multi-task, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines - A strong understanding of data structures, governance and privacy - Ability to manipulate and analyse data and produce reports - Excellent customer service in a high-pressure environment Work in a way that works for you We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
