The Role
We're seeking a Clerk to Governors to join our successful administration team and support our Local Academy Committee (Governing Board). This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a growing school that opened in 2018 and now serves over 1,200 students across Years 7-13.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide governance advice and support, including procedural guidance and legislative updates
* Manage and administer governing board meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up actions
* Maintain accurate records of governor membership, meetings, and board documentation
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for governance, information management, and school policies
* Support board communication, professional development, and effective governance processes
