McBride Sport is recruiting on behalf of Ascot for a creative and driven Social Media Manager to lead content for QIPCO British Champions Day, the prestigious finale to the UK flat racing season.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the social media strategy for British Champions Series (BCS), including QIPCO British Champions Day, Club 26 and the Hall of Fame
* Planning and overseeing content production, from concept to delivery
* Managing daily relationships with social and digital agencies
* Creating engaging, on-brand content to grow and energise audiences
* Running community management and reactive engagement across all platforms
* Working closely with partners and stakeholders to bring racing and lifestyle stories to life
* Tracking social growth and content performance
* Managing budgets and delivering against clear KPIs
The ideal candidate will have:
* A genuine interest in horse racing – or previous experience working in the sport – is highly desirable
* Proven experience in a social media management role
* Strong working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube
* Excellent writing skills and an eye for detail
* Experience overseeing content shoots and working with creators
* Confidence managing agencies and collaborating with stakeholders
* Flexibility for UK travel as required
