You’ll be entrusted to:
* Plan and deliver lessons to suit each swimmer in the class
* Ensure safe provision and correct use of all equipment
* Establish and ensure that safety standards are followed in every lesson
* Identify participants' abilities and encourage them to reach their full potential
* Provide explanations and demonstrate swimming techniques
* Correct faults in swimming techniques and identify ways to improve performance
Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you...
* Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (Previously ASA) Level 2
* Are a strong swimmer
* Hold either a valid RLSS UK NPLQ or RLSS UK NRASTC or STA Safety (advantageous but not essential as we can provide the training to complete these courses free of charge)
* Have plenty of enthusiasm and a big smile
* Possess excellent customer service skills and be someone who is happy to deal with people of all ages and backgrounds
* Are willing to go the extra mile whilst on your rounds to enable your team to hit their targets
* Are a team player
