We have an opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to lead a combined Warehouse and Transport operation from Trax Park, Doncaster. This challenging and exciting role will appeal to an individual with experience, drive, determination and enthusiasm.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, this role requires an elevated level of strategic skills and change management to deliver the contract account plans, deliver excellent customer service, satisfaction, and to ensure delivery of all Warehouse KPI’s.
* Giving direction to operational SM and TL’s and monitoring performance, ensuring the Warehouse runs efficiently and effectively with direct responsibility for the SM and TL’s, taking accountability for overall productivity of the operation.
* Ensure effective communication throughout the operational Management team, communicating planning requirements providing information on performance against site KPI’s.
* Identify future talent for succession plans and ensure the Warehouse Management teams are effectively cross-trained.
* Manage Time & Attendance of team members as required in Kronos and Oracle Cloud.
* Drive a culture of best-in-class H&S performance through the Warehouse Management team and exceed all company and customer H&S KPI’s.
* Developing and maintaining a high-performance culture across the site through motivating and guiding the Warehouse Management team to deliver operational excellence and exceed the customer expectations through site Operational KPI’s.
* Lead, develop and inspire direct reports to achieve business goals while maximizing individuals’ potential.
* Build a strong team that drives continuous improvement and delivers site strategies.
* Be capable of covering for the DCM when required.

* The depot operates a night shift and weekend shifts therefore it is essential that you are flexible in your approach to work.
