Job description Do you have the expertise and drive to manage infrastructure projects that support the UK’s defence capabilities? Are you ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role? As the Estates and Facilities Manager, assisting the Head of Establishment, you will provide support with all aspects of Infrastructure Management on the Bicester site. This includes managing new additional infrastructure changes, liaising and collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver the Future Defence Infrastructure Service contract and oversee the planning and budgeting for minor infrastructure works across the site. You will participate in cross-team support activities and apply asset management and risk principles, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance. Please note that this is a site-based role in Bicester. Please also be advised that you will be expected to undertake a range of activities across site, therefore the successful applicant will be required to have a good level of physical fitness. Occasional travel to other sites is necessary, therefore you will be required to hold a current, full, clean driving licence. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. What you’ll be doing In this role, you will manage new additional infrastructure changes and be the focal point for building/infrastructure problems and queries. You will also negotiate and agree on services outages, engaging with all stakeholders to enable infrastructure works to take place.
