About the Role
As a Field Specialist, you'll be providing field support to assigned projects. You'll assist in resolving problems and ensuring our products help to perform and maintain efficiently during operations. You'll also be required to collaborate with other functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction is fulfilled accordingly.
Responsibilities
* Install, calibrate and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer sites.
* Provide routine service and support regarding sample collecting, pump maintenance, chemical feed, and calibration.
* Assist Sales Representatives and engineers with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts.
* Perform lab analysis, troubleshooting, and provide technical support to customers.
* Execute required chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories at customer accounts as needed.
To be successful in this role you will
* Have a minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry or equivalent.
* Have extensive 3 years’ experience in Oilfield Chemical & Onshore Operation.
* Have good product line knowledge in addition to meeting the competency requirements for Downstream Chemicals.
* Have a thorough understanding of production, onshore process, and production chemical applications and production chemistry related.
* Have the ability to work and communicate well with people, especially within the customer’s community.
* Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure in an onshore environment.
* Possess strong oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Have the ability to work independently and possess strong problem-solving skills.
