We're looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our clients team on a contract basis for a 6-month period. You will play a key role on a Finance project, focusing on migrating over to Workday.
This position requires an understanding of finance processes, with preferably Workday knowledge.
You will be responsible for designing and supporting the implementation of a robust, scalable, and secure solution that aligns to the company’s strategic objectives. This role requires strong technical expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architect, engineering and security teams to ensure that solutions meet both current and future needs.
You will be expected to:

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions.
Conducting solution architecture research, PoCs, feasibility assessment and facilitating solution application selections.
Key focus of the role:
* Architecture Design: Develop and implement the architecture for the finance migration project, ensuring alignment with business goals and Workday best practices.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Finance, Pension Administration and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the solution meets their needs.
* Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring best practices in solution design and implementation.
* Integration Management: Design, oversee and implement the integration of Workday with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process integration.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
* Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including design specifications, integration plans, and technical guidelines.
* Ensure the company Blueprint is kept up to date and to the standards set.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of the solution through rigorous testing and validation processes.
* Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.
* Deliver a high-quality, scalable, and secure solution that meet business requirements and delivered on time and within budget.
* Achieve high levels of satisfaction among business stakeholders through effective communication and deliver the solution to meet the business needs.
* Ensure the solution complies with relevant regulations, industry standards and aligned to the Enterprise Architecture strategy with a strong focus on data security and privacy.
* Highlight any risks identified and propose mitigation to the project leadership to ensure project success.
* Work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

* Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on finance system implementation.
* Strong understanding of architectural frameworks and best practices.

Desirable
* Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF 9 certified, Certified Solutions Architect).
* Knowledge of Workday, including its architecture, integration capabilities, and best practices.
