The role we are recruiting for, Commercial Manager, has evolved due to rapid growth within the business for the last few years. Strategic buy ins, a new Managing Director and streamlined process and procedures have enabled a £8M turnover company to become a £40M powerhouse. They are a specialist subcontractor operating in drylining (65% of turnover) and facades.
A newly created position for the business, The Commercial Manager will report to the Board of Directors and have overall responsibility for the commercial success on projects and the surveying team. You will protect the commercial interests of the business with contractual issues, ensuring they are compliant and putting in the right notices etc.
This job is not for the faint hearted, as they continue to grow there will be significant challenges along the way. But with adversity comes great rewards, if you can put in the graft now, during this rapid expansion, you will be rewarded professionally and financially along the way.

This role is ideally suited to a Qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager looking to take a step in their career. You will need extensive experience within the drylining industry. Facades as well, would be a bonus. You must have a sound knowledge of contracts (NEC, JCT etc). You need to be ambitious, diligent and presentable for this opportunity.
