Warehouse Team Leader

Freshstart Recruitment are proud to be supporting a Global manufacturing with their recruitment of a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team due to internal promotion.
As the Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a key role in maintaining the efficient operation of the warehouse, overseeing the staff and ensuring daily targets and deadlines are met.
Hours: 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday with very occasional weekend working during seasonal peaks
Key Responsibilities for Warehouse Team Leader
* Lead and supervise a team of 5 warehouse associates to ensure daily and weekly KPI's are met across processing, picking, packing, and dispatch
* Coordinate and prioritise daily tasks to ensure timely order fulfilment
* Train, coach, and mentor warehouse staff to maintain high performance and quality standards
* Monitor productivity and efficiency metrics
* Lead the team through effective collaboration, clear communication, and employee engagement
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
* Collaborate with other departments to optimise workflow and resolve any issues that may arise
* Utilise WMS to manage inventory, track orders, and generate reports
* Participate in regular meetings and provide feedback to management on warehouse operations
Skills and experience required for the Warehouse Team Leader
* This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals
* The ideal candidate will have a solid background in warehouse operations and a passion for leading and developing teams
