Since their inception in 2017 they have seen rapid growth and supported their clients deliver their objectives Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated National Account Manager to join our FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) team. As a National Account Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and developing key accounts, including major retailers such as Co-Op, Waitrose, Spar, and others. Your primary responsibilities will include range changes, planograms, new line forms, sample distribution, managing discontinued SKUs and rebates, as well as driving performance improvements for underperforming SKUs. We are looking for someone with excellent relationship-building skills, strong communication abilities, experience in national accounts management, and proficiency in Excel. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, such as Co-Op, Waitrose, Spar, and other national accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional customer service. Range Changes: Collaborate with the customer's buying and merchandising teams to implement range changes, including introducing new products, discontinuing SKUs, and optimizing product assortment. Planograms: Work closely with customers to develop and implement effective planograms, ensuring optimal product placement and visual appeal in stores. New Line Forms: Coordinate the submission and approval process of new line forms, ensuring accurate and timely completion to support the introduction of new products. Sample Distribution: Arrange and send out product samples to customers, assisting them in evaluating and selecting appropriate products for their stores. Discontinued SKUs and Rebates: Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to manage discontinued SKUs effectively. Collaborate with finance and operations teams to manage rebates and pricing adjustments as necessary. Performance Improvement: Analyze sales data and identify opportunities to drive performance improvements for underperforming SKUs. Develop and execute strategies to enhance sales and profitability. Reporting and Analysis: Utilize Excel and other tools to generate reports, analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and provide insights to internal teams and customers. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in a national accounts role within the FMCG industry, dealing with major retailers and key accounts. Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in Excel, including advanced data manipulation, analysis, and reporting capabilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
