Teaching Assistant- Alcester, Warwickshire (B49) Hours- Full Time, Mon-Fri term time only (can be flexible for the right candidate) Rate of Pay- £83-95 per day (dependent upon experiences and responsibilities) Start Date- ASAP Description: The team at Teaching Personnel Birmingham are working in close partnership with an Ofsted rated "Good" School in Warwickshire to appoint a confident and friendly teaching assistant to work in their mainstream secondary school. Within mainstream schools, the need for SEN is still significant and the requirement for dedicated and passionate teaching assistants to support these pupils, is essential. You will be working alongside the class teacher to support pupils holistically, contributing to the safe and positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: -Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to those pupils who require it - Assist the class teacher with general classroom support, contributing to the smooth running of the classroom environment - Lead interventions and sessions designed to assist pupils' with their learning, in line with the national curriculum and school policies - Create positive working relationships with all pupils, staff and parents - Ensure you are promoting the health, safety and well being of everyone in the school, at all times Our ideal applicant will have previous experience working within a teaching assistant or support staff role and will have the confidence to slot straight into this wonderful school environment.
